Sahir Lodhi has a bone to pick with online critiques

(Web Desk) – We know now that Sahir Lodhi cannot take criticism well after a video was released on social media on Friday shows him criticising social media users and writers for reviewing ‘Raasta’ in capacity of a viewer, which seems quite fair.

Raasta, a Sahir Lodhi starrer was released last month across Pakistan and reports that poured in immediately after declared it a disaster.

In a video circulated on Facebook by the Raasta team, Lodhi cited three writers among a barrage of online critics for his anger towards ‘media rejection’.

He thanked the people for liking his work for 11 years and categorically cleared at the beginning of the online address that he is neither quiting nor leaving the country, as much as his haters want him to.

He claimed that some derogatory articles were removed from blogging websites on April 4.

The radio jockey turned actor asked: “Are you playing God? Are you a demi-god?” “Who gave you the right to differentiate between those who go to Bambino and those who visit Nueplex [cinema theatres]?”

He also raised questions over veracity of the organisations who have employed them and asserted that  proofs  will be brought to the fore on Monday. Proofs of what? Many are confused.

Off course he was referring to the following comments on Facebook:

A social media user called it another ‘media stunt’ by Sahir Lodhi while following are a variety of opinions on his criticism on social media users and bloggers:

Did Shahid Kapoor's wife take a dig at Kareena?

(Web Desk) – Kareena Kapoor Khan has apparently taken a dig at Shahid Kapoor’s wife according to an Indian report after Mira Rajput passed remarks at an event that concerned working mothers.

Rajput indulged herself in a panel discussion over feminism and motherhood during which she said that her daughter is not a puppy and she doesn’t want to be away from her all the time which is why she wears ‘housewife’ tag with pride.

An Indian news outlet has taken the statement as if she took a dig at Kareena Kapoor Khan as she was straight to work the first thing after delivering a healthy baby boy, Taimoor Ali Khan Pataudi last December.

In a media interaction, when Pataudi wife was asked to comment on what Rajput had said, she replied: “What kind of a mother I am is something that will unfold with time. I will not scream from rooftops about experiencing motherhood or how much I love Taimur.”

She said that there’s always the pressure of being judged and it is about how you cope with it.

“Every pregnancy and every mother’s journey with her child during those nine months and afterwards is different. You can’t draw parallels. No one out there really knows me or what I am feeling at a given time. How can anyone decide on my behalf whether I am supposed to feel depressed or if I can step out before 45 days? If I’m spoken about like that, what would it be like for other women?”
